Richard Baker has practiced law since 1988 and currently maintains his practice in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee .

      Richard Baker is licensed in the state of Tennessee, and has argued cases most of the trial courts of eastern Tennessee, the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.  He is admitted to all three districts of the the United States District Courts and has argued successfully before the United States Court of Appeals in Cincinnatti, Ohio and is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States. 

     Richard Baker was certified as a Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Supreme Court Committee on Specialization in 1998.  Mr. Baker was recognized by his peers as a Mid South SuperLawyer in 2007 and 2008. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Association for Justice,  and helps support the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, a non-profit law firm representing the public interest. 

   Richard Baker has set record jury verdicts in eastern Tennessee and continues to represent the victims of negligence before all the courts of the state.
