Prior to February 2011, Triad-Group, Inc, also known as Triad Pharmaceutical manufactured alcohol patches for use as a sterile pre-injection ( pre injection ) pad for patients who needed daily or weekly injections of prescribed medication, including medications for diabeties (insulin), hepatitis (pegasus) and many others.

The "Triad Alcohol Patch" is known to have contained a bacterium manufactured before January 2011 which contained the bacteria, bacillus cereus. Ordinarily, the bacteria is harmless, but in the patient who is taking prescribed medication which requires an injection, the Triad Alcohol Patch may be DANGEROUS because of the bacterium in the swabs and patches.
